Kalashnikova and Bricis are the Strongest at Belarus MTB Championship
From July 26 to 28, Belarus Championship in three MTB disciplines - XCC, XCO and XCR - was held in Korobchitsy.
On Friday, were held medal events in XCC - a 20-minute race with short laps. Dainis Bricis won a solo victory, ahead of Maksim Malyshka and Uladzislau Barnatovich.
Among women, Hanna Kalashnikava won first place, ahead of Nastassia Kuzniatsova, and Valeria Litvinovich came in third.
On Saturday, the competition was held in the Olympic MTB discipline - XCO. Among men, Dainis Bricis won first place. Aliaksndr Sychuhou won silver, and Maksim Malyshka won bronze. Among women, Hanna Kalashnikava confirmed her title.
Belarus Championship ended with a relay race, in which the team of Brest region (Egor Khevuk, Ivan Borisyuk, Evgeny Savlyuk, Hanna Kalashnikava, Yana Danilyuk, Valeria Litvinovich) beat Grodno region team (Kirill Marchik, Aleksandr Sak, Arseny Aleksandrovich, Anastasia Kuznetsova, Aleksandra Khitrushko, Anzhelika Rozhko).
