Belarusians Won Five Medals at the Russian Track Cycling Championships
The Belarusian team completed its performance at the Russian Track Cycling Championships in St. Petersburg with five medals to its credit.
The most successful racer was Artsiom Zaitsau, who first became the strongest in the sprint and then consolidated his result in the keirin.
In the men's sprint, Aliaksandr Hlova also won a medal, showing the third result.
Varvara Basiakova performed excellently in the women's keirin, winning a bronze medal.
In the tempo events, the only medal the Belarusian team won was in the women's madison, where Karalina Biruk and Nastassia Kiptsikava scored the second highest total points.
