Hanna Tserakh Won Her First World Tour Race
Belarusian racer Hanna Tserakh successfully completed the three-day World Tour race Tour of Chongming Island in China.
Tserakh, together with two other Belarusians, Taisa Naskovich and Irina Chuyankova, competed as part of the Chinese continental team “Li Ning Star”. And if at the first stage they fought mainly for intermediate prizes, then at the second they organized an excellent lead out, which the current champion of Belarus took advantage of brilliantly. Hanna gave a powerful sprint on the wet track after the rain and was ahead of the Italian stars - Chiara Consonni and Martina Fidanza.
Hanna Tserakh started the third stage with a victory at the mountain award, which allowed her to win this category, and then finished in a high seventh place.
In the overall standings, Tserakh took fourth place, Naskovich became 12th.
